How it Works

Who do we aim to help

At The Empathologist Foundation, we wholeheartedly embrace empathy, recognising its profound impact on individuals facing various parenthood-related challenges. Whether navigating the complexities of an undesired pregnancy, considering adoption for their children, grappling with the emotional aftermath of adoption, struggling with postpartum depression, facing the difficulties of single parenthood, or navigating other dynamics such as foster care or guardianship, amongst others, we offer support and provide them with the resources and understanding they need to navigate these situations.

How do we want to help

Through our empathetic approach, we strive to foster resilience, promote healing, and advocate for the well-being of individuals impacted by the complexities of parenthood. Moreover, acknowledging that each individual’s circumstances and needs are unique, we are committed to conducting thorough case analyses to tailor our services accordingly. In addition to mental health support and skills training, we stand ready to offer a wide range of essential services aimed at promoting holistic well-being. These services may include counselling, legal assistance, childcare provisions, access to healthcare, and vocational training, among others. Our approach emphasizes personalized solutions addressing specific circumstances and aspirations, ensuring comprehensive support to rebuild lives and thrive beyond current parenthood hardships.

How do we select our beneficiaries

The foundation collaborates with social workers from NGOs, healthcare providers, legal advisors, community leaders, and other professionals who share our values and interests. These professionals work with individuals in vulnerable situations facing parenthood issues and play a crucial role in referring cases to the foundation, ensuring that the beneficiaries meet certain criteria.
