How to make a donation using PayFast

  • Click on the Donate Button:
    • By clicking the Donate button you’ll be taken to a donation page where you can enter the amount you wish to donate under “Custom Amount”. If you wish to make a ‘Recurring donation’ tick the box just below.
    • If you selected ‘Recurring Donation’ you’ll need to select the payment frequency: monthly, quarterly, biannual or annual, and specify the total number of payments. For example, if you’d like to donate monthly for six months, enter 6. If you prefer to donate for a year, enter 12.
  • Proceed with Donation:
    • After clicking the Donate button, you’ll be taken to another screen where you’ll see the amount to be paid and will be asked for your email address. Once you’ve entered your email, click Continue.
  • Enter payment details:
    • Fill in your payment details, such as credit card information or other payment methods available through PayFast.
  • Complete donation:
    • After entering your payment details, review all the information to ensure it is correct.
    • Click on the “Donate” or “Submit” button to finalize the donation.
  • Confirmation:
    • You will receive a confirmation message or email from PayFast acknowledging your donation.
Important Notes:
  • Currency conversion: The exchange rate used for the conversion is determined by PayFast at the time of the transaction.
  • Restarting the process: If you need to change the donation amount after selecting the currency, you must restart the donation process from the beginning.
